OH yes, I went there...
I went to an interview today... a French interview... and did well... shockingly... I hear back from them tomorrow.
The job is doing technical support and/or testing at Statistics Canada's tech support/testing department. roughly 13-14 hours a week at a decent payrate (maybe 10-12 an hour). Bilingual position, which apparently I do fulfill - just by living in Quebec and being able to discourse for an hour in french. More on that tomorrow night.
French orals coming up, along with the finals in a couple of weeks. I'm a bit nervous, especially about the oral, but considering how I did in the interview today, I don't think it will be a problem. I can speak french when I have to, I'm just nervous.
The website project is coming along... slowly. Our first official presentation of the site will be next Wednesday and I'm up into my eyeballs preparing everything we need.
I've been asked to work on another website project - redesigning PTS's website for volunteer hours (not that I need them - god bless Quebec) and MAYBE a sum of money somewhere between 100 and 300. Not bad for not much work.
I saw Harry Potter 4 - could have been better but could have been worse. It just feels... rushed, which is a feeling you don't get in the book. It's missing numerous small bits that are truly missed. But it wasn't a completley trashed version and there remains hope for 5, 6 and 7.
Love life? Mmmm... interesting possibilities. I'm keeping my mouth shut for now but will let people know if anything becomes... more interesting.
Anyways, I should go do some work for a bit before hitting the hay.
