Fumbling In The Dark
You know... I think I've come across the feeling I hate most.
It isn't being alone.
It isn't the memories of times past haunting me.
It's the feeling of not having a goal.
When you're with somebody, you have something and someone very specific to think about. You can plan your next adventure, focus on the problems or just daydream about them. When you're single, you don't have that. Instead you're faced with a daunting task of answering the question 'where do I go from here?'. Do I keep trying to patch things up; do I look at an older relationship and the possibilities of revisiting it or do I move on to something new?
That's where I'm stuck at at the moment. It's not a question that only has two answers, rather it has an almost infinite number of answers and I have absolutely no clue which one is right and which one is wrong. It's an incredibly frustrating and annoying feeling.
Poetry poetry poetry. I do have more poetry. I don't know when I'll get around to posting it - hopefully sometime soon.
On plus side, I got a piece of Java code that I've been trying to get working to work finally. The sweetness that is Java now lives!
If only the classes weren't huge to design and complex... but breaking that down will make it so much easier, especially if Chris and I can do it together.
Anyways, I just wanted a bit of a rant before I hit the hay.
